CPD Charter
All associate members have the chance to accept and sign up to QR's CPD Charter and become a full member. Full members have their accounts upgraded and their external public profiles automatically updated to reflect this. Full members provide the clearest possible sign to the public that they are committed to developing themselves and their practice. Full membership is an excellent way to develop yourself and keep your skills up to date for the benefit of yourself and the public.
The CPD Charter is a running commitment that full members continue to invest in and develop themselves regularly. Failure to keep up with your quarterly CPD requirements or behaviour not in keeping with the Charter will lead to your membership reverting to associate status. QR Full members agree to abide by the following CPD Charter:
Maintain knowledge and skills required to successfully carry out service(s) to the public.
Search for support and guidance if aware level of competency is falling below that required to carry out role successfully.
Always accept responsibility and accountability for own professional decisions and actions.
Be fully transparent in all professional matters.
Always act demonstrating absolute integrity and honesty.
Comply with all prevailing laws and own duty of care to customers and members of the public.
Maintain requirement to gain 3 endorsed CPD points per quarter.
Recognise QR will verify their CPD on an ongoing basis.
Endorsed CPD can be exchanged for your lifelong learning credits in the CPD shop. Standards of CPD are set by Lifetime Awarding. All endorsed CPD that you complete will lead to you gaining an endorsed Lifetime Awarding digital certificate. These achievements will be shown on your public profile along with your full member status when members of the public search the register. A link to this page can then be used and embedded into your CV and/or any job applications or promotional activity you undertake.
