Membership Levels
All professionals listed on QR have one of 3 membership levels, these are:
Student Members are in the process of studying for their QR entry qualification. As soon as they complete their qualification their membership status will automatically be upgraded to Full or Associate Member status. Student Membership is free for all members.
Associate Members have completed their entry qualification but have either not signed up to QR's Continuous Professional Development (CPD) charter or haven't completed their annual CPD requirement to maintain full member status. Associate Membership is free for all members.
Full Members are QR register members that have signed up to our CPD Charter and have maintained their CPD obligations (i.e. they perform and complete the required amount of CPD each year). From the publics perspective full members demonstrate a clear signal that they are committed to their industry and making themselves more capable and keeping their qualifications up to date. CPD is an investment of time and effort in sharpening ones skills. QR believes in full transparency and the areas in which the member has chosen to do so will be clearly displayed for the public. Maintaining CPD obligations means achieving 12 CPD points (approx. 240 hours of learning) per annum on an ongoing basis. CPD points can be achieved by:
Completing Ofqual approved QCF qualifications
Completing endorsed CPD courses that are accredited
Attending endorsed CPD events
